My Intellectual Property Journey

 

Qualcomm, a leading electrical and computer engineering firm with headquarters in San Diego, California, has equipped me with the knowledge of Intellectual Property. Qualcomm has shown leadership in creating the Inventor's Patent Academy (TIPA) to teach anybody from the general public who is interested in learning the basics of intellectual property with emphasize in patents. Due to my involvement with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) from the San Diego Professional Chapter, I was introduced to TIPA from the Latino engineers at Qualcomm and completing the courses has empowered me with awareness of intellectual property to embrace my career in the biotechnology industry.
