Review:
Whenever I think about hard work, passion, and
dependability, Ken is one of the first individuals that comes to mind. I
met Ken in the MESA (Mathematics Engineering Science Achievement)
program at San Diego City College, in the year 2014. Most of my time
with Ken was spent doing volunteering work for the Society of Hispanic
Professional Engineers. In said year, I introduced Ken to this
non-profit organization, since it aligned with his goals and career
outlook. Ken was a valuable asset in our team, he served in many
leadership roles, and was always present when needed. I don’t think the
development of the chapter would have been the same without him around.
Seeing him grow into the responsible and great leader he is today is
empowering not only to me, but everyone around him.
Ken is a
resilient individual that accomplishes anything that he plans. He is a
passionate team member, attribute that highlights his contributions to
any project or event. In multiple instances, I had the opportunity of
closely working with him. Our first project, in October 2014, we worked
together on a project related to a drought proposal. This project was
formatted in a 3-minute video, presented to an audience of around 300
persons at the MESA Program Annual State Conference. Being this my first
time working with Ken, gave me the impression of who he is as a
team-member: a dependable, responsible, and charismatic individual;
willing to go the extra mile and always open to feedback.
Knowing
and working closely with Ken, I can say with confidence that he is a
valuable contribution to any team; thanks to his skills in leadership,
team member mentality, responsibility, and kindness.
